JOB DESCRIPTION:Assist the professional staff nursing by providing residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with established policies and procedures, including proper feeding, bathing, dressing, exercising, toliet and general comfort of the resident. EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Completion of Illinois C.N.A. course and completion of competency test. CPR certified, and updated as necessary. Ability to read, write and speak English and understand verbal and written instructions as necessary. EXPERIENCE:Some experience with the elderly preferred. Computer experience preferred.

Leisure Services Assistant - Part Time
JOB DESCRIPTION: Support and/or assist activities for the residents; responsible for creating and posting resident communications, i.e TV system, invitations, posting flyers, and assisting with the monthly newsletter and creating the calendar. Assist with resident and Marketing events, securing speakers/ or entertainment within budget restrictions. Make room reservations and arrange for or personally setup activity area for scheduled program in cooperation with other departments. Maintain reservation book for special programs and trips. Prepare check request for entertainers and supplies.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one (1) year experience in resident activities or related field. Must possess advanced computer skills.
EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively, using proper speech and grammar. Must have the ability to organize activities and coordinate the team effort required for an event to materialize successfully.

Maintenance Technician - Full Time
Primary Purpose and Job Function
· Works in accordance with established policies and procedures and specific instructions from the Director of Plant Services and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
· The General Maintenance personnel is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant, involving plumbing and carpentry work, minor electrical and appliance repairs, and repairing furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
·Perform general maintenance duties, such as; fixing wall coverings, floor coverings, and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repair.
·Perform refurbishing projects.
·Perform routine preventive maintenance.
·Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
·Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
·Perform light maintenance on the heating and air-conditioning systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, domestic water systems and emergency generators.
·Must know responsibilities during fire alarms, fires, tornados, hurricanes, bomb threats and other possible emergencies. Responsible for reading and understanding Emergency Manual. In case of emergency, responsible for fulfilling duties as outlined in Emergency Manual.
·Report equipment malfunctions, breakdown, general repair, etc. to supervisor as soon as possible.
·Requires 24-hour on-call duty shared with other maintenance personnel.
·Assist periodic inspections of the community including, but not limited to, roofs, air condition system, lighting, parking areas and mechanical equipment.
·May be responsible for trash and garbage removal from Residential buildings and
·Maintain work areas in a safe and sanitary condition which may include, but is not limited to, picking up trash on property, cleaning up spills, pressure cleaning trash/garbage and other areas as assigned.
·Participates in seasonal watering of grounds, as directed.
·Must perform snow removal duties with both power equipment and manually. Must be available on call 24 hours during inclement weather.
·Responsible for driving company vehicles on and off property.
·Participates in all meetings, in-service seminars, and committees, as designated by management.
·Generate purchase orders for parts needed to make repairs in the community.
·Accountable for hours worked via daily work form.
·Perform routine maintenance on all

·Participation in yearly Christmas Appreciation Function.
Education/Skills/Abilities:
·Vocational or technical education, or related experience.
·Must have the ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic measurements.
·Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
·Must have the ability to read, write and speak English.
·Requires the use of judgment to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. Must be courteous, friendly and helpful and be able to function in a team environment.
Experience:
·Prefer five (5) years experience in building maintenance or related field.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
·Flow of work demands visual acuity, must have the ability to handle simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environment.
·Must be able to identify hazards, comprehend consequences and determine action to take. Position requires walking or standing 90% of the time.
·Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs. Must be able to move quickly, bend, stoop, squat, twist, climb ladder and maintain balance.
·Must have the ability to perform gross and fine motor skills.
UTILITY WORKER
Job Duties: Working in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Director of Dining Services and/or Food Production Supervisor, the Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing of non-food supplies.
Education/Skills/Abilities:Must have the ability to read, write and communicate in English. Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene. Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and understand weights and measurements. Ability to set up and operate dishwashing equipment. Must be courteous, friendly and helpful and be able to function in a team environment. Must be able to communicate needs and concerns.
Experience:Prefer some dishwashing experience, but will train.

Cook - Full time
The primary purpose of position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Kitchen Supervisor or Director of Dining Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
JOB DUTIES
- Prepare all soups and sauces; boils, braises and roasts items as per standardized recipes. Prepare and service all sautéed fried, grilled, steamed and baked items as per standardized recipes.
- Responsible for the preparation of all food items for the dining room,Health Center and special functions in accordance with standard recipes and methods of preparation and presentation.Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours, so that quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved.
- Responsible for the preparation of plates and garnishes all food items to be served to Residents and guests on buffet line, as directed.
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- See that supplies are obtained from storage areas in adequate time for meal production.
- Participates in all meetings, in-service seminars, and committees, as designated by management.
EXPERIENCE:Prefer minimum of one (1) year experience as a cook or a job related position in a hotel, restaurant, club, health care facility or similar institution.
