FAQs

Here are some of the questions frequently asked by those interested in Lifespace Communities. If you don’t see your question here, please feel free to contact us, and we’ll get you an answer quickly.

Q. What Amenities are Typically Included at a Lifespace Community?

A. A residency agreement often includes these services as part of the complete package for life at our retirement community: weekly housekeeping, flat laundry service, daily meal in the restaurant, fitness programs, transportation, full activity calendar, security, utilities, parking for residents and their guests, emergency call monitoring and unlimited access to on-site health care services. Many properties also have swimming pools, spas, wellness programs, libraries, beauty shops, banking services, gift shops, convenience stores and other programs important to local residents.

Q. Can I Bring My Own Furniture and Favorite Things When I Move in?

A. Absolutely. The apartment or town home that you occupy is your home and can be furnished and decorated as you choose. Many residents also choose to upgrade countertops, flooring or wall coverings to further customize their living unit as their home. Many communities also have garden spaces and other outdoor amenities for their residents.

Q. What Will I Pay to Enter a Community?

A. All communities charge an entrance fee and have a monthly service fee. The monthly fees cover the services and amenities provided at the community while you are in residence. The entrance fee may have refundable portion at the time you leave the community. A portion of your fees may be tax deductible.

Q. How Do I Find Out More?

A. You may contact the marketing staff at any Lifespace Community that interests you. Go to the “Our Communities” button on the website to find the contact information at any community that interests you. You will be contacted by the marketing staff from that community. You may also view a description of each Lifespace community on the website.
